CAS(E) this Sketch!

Hi everyone!  I'm back today sharing a card that was inspired by the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  I just ordered the Beautiful Berries: Winter by Papertrey Ink and it arrived the other day.  I couldn't wait to use it for this sketch!

I love this big sentiment with the twigs and berries in the two corners.  I had to use gray twigs with red berries for my first card.  I made a bunch of these to tuck away for next years Christmas cards using all different colors for the twigs and berries.  The gray and red was my favorite.

Here's one of the other ones I created using somewhat traditional colors.

Here is the sketch!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Good Stuff Inside

Hi everyone!  We are enjoying the Holiday Housewarming party over on StampNation.  The first video tutorial went up yesterday and I just knew I had to create some of these FUN Fancy Top Hexagon boxes that Iliana shared with us.  They are perfect for a cute little candle, a pair of fuzzy socks or even some handmade Oreo Truffles.

Here is a picture of the top of the box.

There are so many ways to decorate these boxes or you could even use Designer Series Paper.  I chose to add some snowflakes to the top and bottom and then add the sentiment.  To kick it up a bit, I did add silver stickles to the center of some of the snowflakes around the box.  I cannot wait to hand these out to my friends this Christmas!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!!!

Color Challenge

Hi everyone!  It is a snowy day here in CT, the perfect day to stay inside and make some cards.  I was totally inspired by the most recent challenge over at StampNation.  It is an amazing color challenge.  The graphic is so pretty!  The colors are mainly red and light blue in the photo, but there are little bits of gray and green in the photo.  I was definitely drawn to add gray on my cards.  There is just something I love about gray leaves and now gray pine branches!!!  :)

While I had all my supplies out I stamped a bunch of these ornaments using red and blue.  After stamping them all I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

The front panel of my card was die cut using the Good Stuff tag dies from the Winterhaven Stamp of Approval Collection.  This die will be in Catherine's store later in 2018.  Love the aperture this die makes.

Here are a couple more using the circle shaped ornament and the piece that was left over after using the Good Stuff tag dies.

To add a little interest to these cards I die cut the tag die from red cardstock and attached it to the back of the stamped piece using dimensional adhesive, so when you look at it from an angle you can see a bit of red peeking out.

On this card I used a light blue cardstock.

Here is a peek at my card for this week's Christmas card challenge on StampNation.

We are totally enjoying being on the new platform over on StampNation.  I have been spending time over there just getting used to where everything is and how to navigate.  It's pretty easy and looks amazing!

Before you go, I wanted to let you know the Plaid background stamp is back in stock!

Happy Sunday everyone!  I have a quick card to share with you today for the Less is More: Colour Challenge.  Red & Green!

I stamped the sentiment onto my card stock and stamped the greenery at the top of bottom to frame the sentiment.  This would be a great card to mass produce if you are running out of ideas.  Switch out the sentiment for more options.

MEDALLION MIX-UP - SAVE ON BUNDLES!!!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!  I'm sharing a few cards today with you using the Medallion Mix-up stamp set.  I just love the images in this set.  You can stamp these in so many different color combinations and get a different look each time!

For my first card, I stamped using the Party collection of ink colors by Catherine Pooler and a black and white heat embossed sentiment.

I made another one using different colors from the Party Collection and adding another stamp from the set.

I couldn't stop with just using the Party Collection of ink colors, I had to grab my Spa Collection and stamp some too!

LOVE these gorgeous colors!!!!

I am hoping to get some time today after my root canal :( to stamp some of these in Christmas colors and a Christmas sentiment!!!!  Love that you can use these Medallions for so many occasions!!!

I'm playing over at Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes.

MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR & BLACK FRIDAY SALE

Hi everyone!  I am popping in quickly before taking some time to spend with my family for Thanksgiving to share a card I created using the Wonderful Time of the Year & Snowy Sayings stamp sets.  I also used the die from the Winterhaven Stamp of Approval Collection.

I stamped the oblong ornament in a star shape using the Spa colors in rainbow order and added a snowflake inside each circle for a bit of fun and interest.  I die cut the tag shape and added it to my card using black fun foam.  I stamped the sentiment and added some twine and a rhinestone to finish off my card.

I wanted to share a sale with you if you happen to do any shopping on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday.  Catherine is having a sale, check out the details in the graphic.  If you order on Friday, you will receive a special surprise bonus gift!  AWESOME!

I highly recommend Catherine's Premium White Card Stock.  It is amazing and works perfectly with her inks!!!  Click HERE to start adding items to your wish list.  Happy Shopping!!!

Just a note

Hi everyone!  Today's card was inspired by the colors over at Color Throwdown.  Light & Dark Blue with silver.  Perfect combination!  I decided to pull out some stamps that are in Catherine Pooler's Foundations Box to create the background for my feather.

I used It's a Boy & Something Borrowed inks.  I stamped and silver heat embossed the feather then die cut it out with it's coordinating die.  Stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in the Foundations Box.  The feather is popped up and you know I had to add some black & white twine to finish off my card.  I just can't seem to stop adding this twine to my cards.  ;)

I'm thinking this would make a great gift set for Christmas.  Making a bunch of these using different colors for the background/feather and adding a different sentiment onto each one.  Hmm, what do you think?!!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Hi everyone!  Today is Day 3 of the Paradise Found Ink Release Blog Hops, my official day was yesterday.  Check out my blog post HERE!  You can start today's blog hop over on Catherine's blog.  I still have more cards to share with you all today.

This card uses the amazing plaid background stamp (which is sold out, but expected delivery to the store on Dec. 8th) and the Winter Woodland stamp set!

I decided to stamp using blues and add silver.  Love this color combo for Christmas.

Here is another one using greens and gold.

While I had all my supplies out, I created a set of these cards.

I am adding the top card over at Color Throwdown.
