Flower Power

Hi everyone!
This week's challenge at StampNation is to use flowers on our project.

Here's a peek at the DT's cards...

I created another card to share with you all here.

I started by stamping the flowers from the stamp set In Bloom: Eva's Favorite Flowers found in the Stamp of Approval Friendship Collection onto a piece of Designer Series paper.  I always forget about stamping onto DSP and I love the look.  I then stamped the sentiment and trimmed the piece off the bottom, fussy cutting around the Y.  I heat embossed the rest of the sentiment using white embossing powder.  Added some twine across the top to finish it off.

Not a StampNation member yet? Why not join today?

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Stamps:   Stamp of Approval Friendship Collection
Ink:  Orange Zest, Raspberry Fizz, New Leaf, Hawaiian Shores (PTI), Versafine Black
Paper:  Black, DSP (SU)
Accessories:  Black & White Twine

  6. Love the vibrant, bright colors of the flowers....so cool stamped on DP (something I've never thought to do!!!). Sweet wee bit of fussy cutting the 'y' which looks really neat hanging off the edge :)
